Day 1- Delhi arrival
The Golden Triangle with Ranthambore Wildlife Tour begins with arrival on Delhi Airport. A representative from Vacations & Journey will welcome and accompany you to the hotel. Check-in and relax. If you are feeling spirited you can come up with exciting ideas to traverse the high-spirited city life of Delhi that remains awake during the night also.
Day 2- Delhi sightseeing
Have a delicious breakfast in Delhi and move for a visit to one of the oldest monuments in Delhi i.e. the Red Fort and Jama Mosque is also an attraction. Then visit the Raj Ghat, the cremation ground of Mahatma Gandhi by the banks of River Yamuna, have a drive past India Gate, President’s House and the Parliament House. After this if the time allows visit the Qutub Minar constructed by Qutub-ud-din Aibak in South Delhi or spend time in the Hauz Khas Village, Lotus Temple. In the evening you can enjoy the light and music show at the Red Fort or enjoy shopping and relishing local cuisines in the Chandni Chawk Market. Return to the hotel and retire for the night.
Day 3- Travel from Delhi to Agra (231 kms)
Start an early day, have breakfast and travel to Agra, the next destination of the Golden Triangle with Ranthambore Wildlife Tour. Agra was the major hub during the Mughal rule in India as it was the capital of the most successful Mughal Emperor Akbar. It is the reason why you will find a number of archaic monuments and delicious Mughal cuisines which it has inherited. On reaching Agra, check-in the hotel and have some rest. In the evening you will be taken to the grand Taj Mahal, to witness the unparallel beauty of this marvelous white marble monument. The Taj Mahal has famous story of the love of Emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal associated with its construction. Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and is the pride of India with many VVIP’s of the world visiting this beauty. Afterwards visit to the local market and shop for the locally made famous white marble statues and other items.
Day 4–Travel from Agra to Ranthambore (293 kms)
On this day, begin an early day and move towards Taj to witness its beauty during the sunrise, then come back to the hotel and have breakfast. Then check-out and visit the Agra Fort and proceed towards Ranthambore. En-route visit to Fatehpur Sikri, the fort complex at Fatehpur Sikri is a World Heritage Site and comprises different awe-inspiring constructions like Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-Khas, Mariyam-uz-Zamani’s Palace, etc which you will be visiting. Check into the hotel on reaching in Ranthambore and relax overnight.
Day 5–Ranthambore sightseeing
Today you will begin your day to see the most awaited site of the tour that is the wildlife of the Ranthambore National Park. Move to the entrance of the national park and you will get the tickets with our help. Then start the amazing jeep safari of the national park spread in an area of 151 square miles witnessing the sight of animals like Indian Tigers, hyenas, wild boars, chital, sambhar, leopard, wild jungle cat and others with an array of plants and trees and lakes in the Jungle. The park is home to over 40 species of mammals, 40 species of reptiles and 300 species of birds. If the time allows, you can also visit the World Heritage Site, the Ranthambore Fort to get an appealing view of the Ranthambore National Park from an altitude of approx. 500 meters. Night stay at the hotel in Ranthambore.
Day 6–Travel from Ranthambore to Jaipur (180 kms)
Have a delicious breakfast and move to reach the capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Jaipur is also known as the ‘Pink City’ and you will see for yourself various building painted all in pink color. All the prominent buildings and houses were painted in pink on the order of the Maharaja of Jaipur to welcome the Prince of Wales. From this it imparted the name of Pink City and the tradition is still followed in some areas of the Jaipur to paint their houses in pink. Check in to the hotel on reaching Jaipur and have a little shopping spree in the local markets of Jaipur after taking a little rest.
Day 7– Jaipur sightseeing
The beautiful Pink City is an amazing blend of rich heritage, royalty and modernization. In the morning march towards one of the largest forts in India the ‘Amber Fort’ to experience the royal heritage of this city. Then with a drive past Jal Mahal and Hawa Mahal visit to the City Palace of Jaipur is scheduled. The next stop is the Albert Hall Museum followed by the Chouki-Dhani Village where you will enjoy a delicious dinner and performances by the local artists. Return to the hotel and rest overnight.
Day 8– Departure
The day marks the end of the Golden Triangle with Ranthambore Wildlife and you will be taken to the Delhi Airport from Jaipur.
