Day 1 Delhi arrival
The tour begins with your scheduled arrival in Delhi Airport where you will receive a warm welcome from Vacations & Journeys representative who will bring you to the pre booked hotel in Delhi. You can unwind and relax in the hotel. The next day is fixed for sightseeing this amazing city.
Day 2 Delhi sightseeing
Wake up energized and begin the day with breakfast. After breakfast move for Delhi sightseeing where you will visit the UNESCO’s World Heritage Site of Qutub Minar, the 240 feet tall Minaret was built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibak, the complex also has the Iron Pillar, Iltutmish Tomb and other monuments. Then visit the marvelous Tomb of Humayun, surrounded by lush gardens, this monument looks like a red sandstone Taj Mahal. Afterwards you will visit the Baha’i sect temple, the Lotus Temple followed by a drive past the President’s house and Parliament House to the India Gate. At night you will have dinner at the place of your choice and rest during the night.
Day 3 Travel from Delhi to Agra (231 kms)
Begin the day early, pack your bags and reach the next destination of the Golden Triangle with Spirituality and Wildlife Tour, Agra. The old city of Agra gained popularity after the settlement of the Mughal Empire. The empire flourished in Agra and left its marks on this city. Today Agra is a well known name due to the presence of Taj Mahal which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Visit the famous World Heritage Site, the Agra Fort and watch the Sheesh Mahal, Jahangir Palace, Musamman Burj, Moti Masjid, etc; all these are well preserved and still look spectacular. In the evening visit the divine Taj Mahal and the Mehtab Bagh. The marble built beauty is the most beautiful manmade monument ever. At night stay in Agra and rest overnight.
Day 4 Travel from Agra to Ranthambore (293 kms)
Have an early morning visit to the Taj Mahal for a breath taking view of the Taj during sunrise. Then make a visit to the Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb and then enjoy a delicious breakfast. Take a little rest and then head to Ranthambore. On reaching Ranthambore, check in and relax after the journey.
Day 5 Ranthambore National Park Visit
Today you will explore the rich flora and fauna of Ranthambore National Park. Ranthambore National Park is also a Tiger Reserve where population of the Indian Tigers is flourishing well. You will enjoy a Jeep Jungle Safari and watch several species of animals and plants in the Forest. Ranthambore National Park is a habitat to animals like jackals, hyenas, stripped squirrels, wild cats, soft skinned beaver, spotted deer, macaques, langoors, etc who live along with the Tigers. Ranthambore will give you a great experience of the Wildlife of India. Then you can visit the Ranthambore Fort and have an awe-inspiring view of the Ranthambore National Park from the fort. Rest of the time you can spend as per your discretion.
Day 6 Travel from Ranthambore to Pushkar (303 kms)
The day ahead is all about travelling. You are free to spend the morning as you like then you will be transferred to the next destination, the spiritual city of Pushkar. The literary meaning of Pushkar is, the ‘blue lotus flower’. The Pushkar Lake has spiritual significance among the Hindus in India. It is said to be created by Lord Brahma and Pushkar has a famous Lord Brahma Temple which is a pilgrimage site. Pushkar is also known for the five day Annual Pushkar Fair, it is the largest cattle fair held in the country. The colorful accessories worn by the cattle especially camels look very vibrant and attract eye of the tourists and photographers. Check into the hotel on reaching Pushkar and take rest after dinner.
Day 7 Pushkar sightseeing
In the morning enjoy a boat ride in the twenty kilometers long Pushkar Lake and watch the ghats surrounding the lake. There are more than 100 temples situated by the lake but the Jagat Pita Brahma Temple is the most visited temple in Pushkar. The lake and the peaceful city of Pushkar have beautiful views during the evening. Enjoy the aarti in the beautiful Brahma temple and visit the other famous temples like the Savitri temple. Spend a peaceful and relaxing night in Pushkar.
Day 8 Travel to Jaipur and Jaipur sightseeing (142 kms)
On the eighth day of the Golden Triangle with Spirituality and Wildlife you will move to the next and the last destination that is Jaipur. After a short ride from Pushkar you will reach Jaipur. After reaching Jaipur take refreshments and head to the Amer Fort. After visiting this wonderful fort, you will have a drive past the Jal Mahal and Hawa Mahal. Then you will be visiting the wonderful Birla Temple in the evening after which if the time allows you will make a visit at the Albert Hall Museum or you may choose to visit the Choki Dhani to enjoy a delicious Rajasthani dinner with music and dance performances by local performers. At night, back to the hotel and unwind yourself and relax.
Day 9 Departure
The day is the last day of the tour. You will be transferred to Delhi for boarding your flight from the Airport. You will be accompanied by an experienced representative from Vacations & Journeys who is always there to assist you.
