India Jungle Safari Tour

Day 1- Delhi arrival

A representative will welcome you on the Delhi Airport and escort you to the pre booked hotel and help you with the check-ins. If the time allows a half day tour to Delhi will be arranged otherwise spend the rest of the day as per your discretion.

Day 2- Delhi sightseeing

The day is booked for sightseeing the capital, Delhi. Delhi is a perfect blend of historical as well as modern architectural attractions for the tourists. The historical monuments worth a visit are Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Humayun’s Tomb, Old Fort and the Qutub Minar. Whereas the recently developed attractions include the Lotus Temple, Akshardham Temple, Iskcon Temple, National Museum, etc. Delhi is famous for its nightlife and night tourism also. Visit the locations of your choice in Delhi and rest overnight in the hotel.

Day 3- Travel from Delhi to Jaipur (231 kms)

Beginning the day after breakfast, travel to Jaipur, which is the second destination of the India Jungle Safari Tour. Jaipur is the capital city of Rajasthan state of India and is also known as the Pink City, because it was all painted in pink color to welcome the Prince of Whales. Jaipur is famous for the historical monuments built by the Rajput Kings and the variety of hand crafts which are a specialty of Jaipur.

Day 4- Jaipur sightseeing

Begin an early day and march towards the Amber Fort with an exciting ride on the back of a painted elephant. The fort complex have various entrances, palaces, gardens and temples built with extreme intricacy and will never fail to impress you. Visit the magnificent City Palace of Jaipur and get marveled by the beautiful buildings inside the complex. Then move for the visit of the exquisite Birla Temple followed by Albert hall Museum. Return to the hotel and rest during the night.

Day 5- Travel from Jaipur Sawai Madhopur (163 kms)

On day 5 of the tour a representative will accompany your short journey from Jaipur to Sawai Madhopur. After the smooth journey you will check in to the hotel or resort in Sawai Madhopur. In Sawai Madhopur you may visit the Shri Ghushmeshwar Temple located 40 lms from Sawai Madhpur. You can spend the rest of the time in leisure.

Day 6- Travel from Sawai Madhopur to Ranthambore (17 kms)

Today you will be experiencing the amazing wildlife of India in one of the Most Famous National Parks of India. After a good night’s sleep get ready for a visit to the Ranthambore National Park which is also a Tiger Reserve. Here you will have a jungle safari in the national park and witness some overwhelming scenes of animals in their natural habitat. After the safari you will visit the Ranthambore Fort which is a World Heritage Site. The fort is very old and gives tremendous views of the Jungles of Ranthambore.

Day 7- Travel from Ranthambore to Agra (295 kms)

The day will begin with breakfast and you will then proceed to Agra. On the way to Agra you will visit Fatehpur Sikri and explore this World Heritage Site. Fatehpur Sikri Fort was built by Akbar on the advice of famous saint Salim Chishti whose Tomb is also located in the city. After watching these you will again proceed to Agra. Visit to the wondrous Taj Mahal in the dusk. Later retire for the night in the hotel.

Day 8- Travel from Agra to Jhansi (235 kms)

On the eighth day of the India Jungle Safari Tour you will Travel to Jhansi. Jhansi lies in the Uttar Pradesh state of Rajasthan and is known for one of the bravest freedom fighter queen of India Rani Laxmi Bai. In Jhansi you will see the Jhansi Fort and the Rani Mahal. At night stay in the hotel in Jhansi.

Day 9- Travel from Jhansi to Khajuraho (175 kms)

After a good night’s sleep you will begin the day with breakfast and then travelling to Khajuraho in the Madhya Pradesh state of India. Known for its ancient complex of temples, it is enlisted in the UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Site. The temples are visited round the year by the tourists who come to watch the temples that have seductive sculptures on the walls and pillars of its temple. The prominent temples in Khajuraho are the Kandariya Mahadev Temple, Lakshmana Temple, Duladeo Temple, Devi Jagdambi Temple and the Chaturbhuj Temple.

Day 10- Travel from Khajuraho to Bandhavgarh (239 kms)

Now having visited the Khajuraho Temple Complex you will travel to Bandhavgarh early in the morning today. Here you will reach Bandhavgarh in Umaria district to visit the Bandhavgarh National Park. The green forest is spread over an area of 105 square kilometers. Bandhavgarh is known for having the Highest Density of Bengal Tigers and hence, is also a Tiger Reserve. You will also get to see animals like Indian Bison and Gaur which are considered almost extinct in India. Night stay is Bandhavgarh.

Day 11- Travel from Bandhavgarh to Kanha (234 kms)

Have a delicious breakfast and get ready for moving on to Kanha. The Kanha National Park is the largest National Park in central India. It is expanded to an area over 940 kilometers square which is nine times more than Bandhavgarh National Park. The huge forest is home to hundreds of species of animals and plants. You will be able to watch the magnificent Tigers in the park. Rest during the night in the resort in Kanha.

Day 12- Kanha National Park visit

Get ready and excited for the visit in the Kanha National Park and see yourself that how this forest comes alive with the inhabitation of so many species of plants and animals. Royal Bengal Tigers, Indian bison, gaur, swamp deer, spotted deer, sloth bear, macaques, Leopards, etc are names of a few species of animals found in the jungle. The jungle has a high density of plants ranging from medicinal to vegetative. The visit to Kanha National Park is surely going to be a memorable one.

Day 13- Travel from Kanha to Pench (114 kms)

After breakfast you will leave Kanha and proceed towards the next destination of India Jungle Safari Tour i.e. Pench. The place got its name from the Pench River that flows through this area in the Seoni district of Madhya Pradesh. Pench is known for the Pench National Park which was a sanctuary until 1983 when it was declared as a national park. On reaching here you may check in to the resort and then explore the national park. The park is famous for ‘rafting’. The 293 square miles of the Pench National Park stretches over the Satpura Hill ranges with a dense population of Teakwood in the forest. Various species of birds and animals are found in this park and it has much to be explored. Night stay in Pench.

Day 14-Travel from Pench to Nagpur (167 kms)

From Pench, you will drive to Nagpur on this day. Nagpur is a city in Maharashtra state of India. In Nagpur you will enjoy a jungle safari in the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Project. Covering the Chimur Hills of Maharashtra the Tadoba Andhari National Park has one of the highest populations of Tigers in India. Other than the Tigers there are approximately 134 species of different animals and nearly 250 species of flora here. Enjoy the Jungle Safari in a Jeep and night stay in Nagpur.

Day 15-Departure
