North India Heritage Culture Wildlife Package

Day 1 Delhi Arrival

The North India Heritage Culture Wildlife Package begins with your awaited arrival on Delhi Airport. Here you will be greeted by Vacations & Journeys representative and he will accompany you to the hotel. Afterwards you may relax and take a good sleep at night in Delhi.

Day 2 Delhi sightseeing

Your excursion tour will begin with the visit to the Red Fort, one of the oldest Mughal monuments in the capital followed by Jama Masjid and the Humayun’s Tomb. Then you will see India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan and Sansad Bhawan (Parliament House). In the evening a visit to the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is scheduled where you will see the peaceful premises of the Gurudwara and you can also chose to visit the Tomb of Saint Nizamuddin. At night you may visit the Hauz Khas village and relish the cuisines from the restaurant of your choice in the Hauz Khas.

Day 3 Travel from Delhi to Jaipur (268 kms)

The day is all about travelling to one of the most famous and culturally rich cities of India, Jaipur. You will first be transferred to the pre booked hotel where you will have refreshments and then you are free to spend the rest of the day exploring the city on your own. Jaipur is a shopper’s paradise; explore the vibrant markets of Jaipur.

Day 4 Jaipur sightseeing

Your fourth day in Jaipur begins with the sightseeing of Amber Fort situated 11 kms away from Jaipur. Amber was the capital of Rajput Kachhwaha clan before they shifted to Jaipur. Enjoy an elephant ride to the entrance gate of the Fort, to view all the beautiful monuments inside the fort and later proceed to visit the City Palace of Jaipur. The architecture of City Palace is sure to impress you a lot. Later visit the Jantar Mantar and Albert Hall Museum in the evening. The visit to the magnificent historical monuments of Jaipur is a great way to know about the art and culture of India.

Day 5 Travel from Jaipur to Kota (253 kms)

Begin the day with a tempting breakfast and then proceed your journey towards Kota. Also called the Education City of India, it has preserved the heritage of the culture of this old city very well. You will have a cozy stay in Kota where you will reach and relax a bit. Afterwards you will be taken for sightseeing the Kishore Sagar Lake in the middle of which is located the red sandstone monument Jag Mandir which is situated on a small island. On one side of the lake is the Seven Wonders Park that has replicas of the Seven Wonders of the World. In the evening the view of Kishore Sagar is breath taking. Relax and spend time in leisure in the hotel in Kota.

Day 6 Travel from Kota to Ranthambore (145 kms)

Beginning the day early and have a visit to the Kotah Garh or the Kota City Fort Palace, marble floors and glass ceilings, impressive paintings of Kings on their hunting missions, photographs of the kings, etc are on display here. After this visit the Government Museum in Kota and see one of the largest collections of war weaponry, royal robes, animal skins and heads, etc. In the evening you will be transferred to Ranthambore which is the next destination of the North India Heritage Culture Wildlife Package where you will see the wildlife of North India.

Day  7 Ranthambore sightseeing

You day will begin early in the morning in Ranthambore. You will be taken to Ranthambore National Park in the morning for the morning safari of the national park. Our representative will accompany you to the entrance. Then you will enjoy a Jeep Safari in the Ranthambore National Park. The green park is spread in an area of around 400 square kilometers. Here you will see various species of animals and birds in their habitats and the most magnificent of them all, you will get to see the Royal Bengal Tigers in here. The park is a famous Tiger Reserve also. Enjoy day long safaris in the park; you can also visit the Ranthambore Fort situated close to the park. The Fort of Ranthambore is a World Heritage Site enlisted in the list of UNESCO. Relax at night in the hotel in Ranthambore.

Day 8 Travel from Ranthambore to Fatehpur Sikri to Agra (260 kms and 36 kms)

After a tempting breakfast head towards Agra, in the journey shortly before Agra you will visit UNESCO’s World Heritage Site of Fatehpur Sikri. Founded by the Mughal Emperor Akbar, it was abandoned after a few years and as a result the monuments here are very well preserved. The fort consisting of beautiful palaces of powerful personalities of the Mughal Royal Family is a huge attraction along with the Buland Darwaza and Tomb of Sufi Saint Salim Chishti. After an hour’s drive you will reach Agra, the City of Taj.

Day 9 Agra sightseeing

Agra houses some of the most beautiful monuments of the world. While the most known is the Taj Mahal. In the morning you will visit the Mehtab Bagh from where you will see the grandeur of Taj Mahal in the rays of the rising sun in which the Taj looks like it is not the construction of human hands but God himself. Then visit the amazing Agra Fort to watch some splendid monuments of the Mughal times followed by the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah known for its architectural style which resembles to the Taj. Then visit the Taj Mahal and in the evening enjoy shopping for souvenirs in the markets of Agra which are known for the amazing white marble statues and sculptures built by the local artists.

Day 10 Departure

On this day you will take leave for Delhi after the amazing tour with Vacations & Journeys you will be board flight back to your home. We will drop you at the Delhi Airport on time.
