North India Spiritual and heritage tour

Day 1 Delhi Arrival
The North India Spiritual & Heritage Tour will commence with your arrival in Delhi. Our representative will meet you as soon as you arrive and will bring you to the hotel so that you can take some rest after the journey. After you have become comfortable you can go ahead with your own interests to explore Delhi. Our representative will meet you the next morning.

Day 2 Delhi sightseeing
After you have had a tasty breakfast you will begin the sightseeing in Delhi. You will be taken to the following places in Delhi in the order of the distance of the locations from the hotel you are staying in. The Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, India Gate, Iskcon Temple and the Raj Ghat. Among these places some belong to the Mughal period and some to the Colonial rule in the country and some are built in the recent years. Surrounded by lush green gardens, all these places and monuments make Delhi an awesome city. You will have a comfortable stay in Delhi at night.

Day 3 Travel from Delhi to Haridwar (222 kms)
In the morning you will have breakfast and will begin travelling to Haridwar beginning the spiritual part of the tour. The name ‘Haridwar’ actually translates to ‘Gateway to Lord Shiva’. In Hindu belief Lord Shiva is the supreme God and the word ‘OM’ is a symbol of Lord Shiva. Haridwar is visited by millions of devotees throughout the year, who come to see famous ghat by the River Ganga named as ‘Har ki Pauri’ which lead to the name of Haridwar. Take rest and enjoy wonderful views of the natural landscapes of this beautiful city from the hotel.

Day 4 Haridwar sightseeing
The mornings in Haridwar are very devotional, you can hear the sound of bells ringing and chanting of Mantras from the temples situated near the hotel. There are many temples in Haridwar and it is declared as a pilgrimage city hence, meat and alcohol are also banned by the Government. Beginning the day with a healthy breakfast proceed to visit the Mansa Devi Temple, a temple dedicated to Goddess Mansa and is situated on a mountain called Bilwa. You will reach by cable car and along with sight of the Goddess idol in the temple you will witness panoramic view of the city from the height. Then you will visit the Chandi Devi Temple, Bharat Mata Temple which is an eight storey unique temple dedicated to the country. In the evening visit ‘Har ki Pauri’ and witness the beautiful Ganga Aarti at Haridwar. Sleep during the night in the hotel comfortably.

Day 5 Travel from Haridwar to Rishikesh (23 kms)
The next destination is Rishikesh situated very close to Rishikesh. Rishikesh is also a city which holds spiritual significance among the Hindus in India. In Rishikesh you will walk the Laxman Jhula which is an iron suspension bridge actually and walking through the bridge will be a great experience for you. Followed by the Neelkanth Mahadev Temple visit you will reach the amazing camping and adventure site of Rishikesh. You may try different kinds of adventure sport activities here. You can also visit the Triveni Ghat which is the union of three perennial rivers of India, the Ganga, Yamuna and the Saraswati. Rishikesh is a hill station and while travelling here you will get incredible views of the natural landscape of Rishikesh.

Day 6 Travel from Rishikesh to Jaipur (432 kms)
In the early morning after breakfast in Rishikesh, proceed for Jaipur. The spiritual part of the tour has almost ended and you will now get closer to the Heritage of the country now. On reaching Jaipur you will be given free time for relaxing and rejuvenating yourself after the journey from Rishikesh.

Day 7Jaipur sightseeing
The Capital city of Jaipur has preserved its heritage in an incredible way, you will find the monuments in Jaipur look like they have been very recently but in reality they are centuries old. You will see the fabulous City Palace of Jaipur which has very intricate and finely carved works by the craftsmen. The Amber Fort, a large fort complex with great monuments inside planned between the beautiful lush green gardens. Then have a visit at the Jantar Mantar after driving past the awe-inspiring Hawal Mahal. The city of palaces and forts has a lot to show you.

Day 8 Travel from Jaipur to Agra (240 kms)
You will be travelling to Agra from Jaipur and on your way a visit to the old abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikhri is scheduled in the itinerary. Fatehpur Sikri was settled by Akbar and he commenced the constructions of the buildings that still stand tall in the city. Although the Mughal rule did not prosper much here and they left soon, they left remarkable monuments in Fatehpur. These are a must visit for the lovers of history and old monuments. After the exploration continue to Agra again and have some refreshment and relax in the hotel after checking in the hotel.

Day 9 Agra sightseeing
While in Agra, wake up and get ready after a delicious breakfast and leave for a visit to the Agra Fort. Its construction commenced by Mughal Emperor was completed in 1565 AD. The fort is a World Heritage Site and also known as Red Fort of Agra due to the built being done with red sandstone. Then make a visit to see the Musamman Burj, which is a tower where Shah Jahan spent the last years of his life, captured by his son Aurangzeb, watching the Taj Mahal. In the evening visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal and enjoy the beauty of this awe-inspiring white marble monument and its premises including the Mehtab  Bagh. At night stay in the hotel in Agra.

Day 10 Departure
This day marks the end of the amazing North India Spiritual and Heritage Tour Package. You will be transferred to Delhi or Jaipur Airport to board your flight. The tour is really suitable for people who have keen interest in spirituality and heritage of India; we will take care of minute details and give our best to keep you safe and happy throughout the tour.
