Day 1 Delhi arrival
Our representative will be there to welcome you on the Delhi Airport when you reach here and then he will accompany you to the pre-booked hotel, thus, beginning the Classic Rajasthan Tour. You can take rest after the long flight journey to relax your body.
Day 2 Delhi sightseeing
After you have had taken good rest the night before, you will have an excursion tour of Delhi after breakfast. The first places you will see are the World Heritage Sites of Red Fort and the Humayun’s Tomb. Both the monuments are built in Mughal style architecture and are more than 500 years old but still look very attractive due to their magnificent built. After this you will visit the Lodi Gardens followed by a visit to the Akshardham Temple. At night visit the India Gate which is a memorial for the Indian Martyrs of the First World War. The Indian capital has many other spectacular monuments for you to visit and you may choose the spots according to your interests.
Day 3 Travel from Delhi to Jaipur (268 kms)
Check out from the hotel in Delhi and travel to Jaipur, also called the Pink City. We will bring you to the reserved hotel in Jaipur where you can relax after check in. In the evening you will be taken to Choki Dhani to enjoy delicious food and some cultural entertainment. Rest overnight in the hotel in Jaipur.
Day 4 Jaipur sightseeing
Commence the day with a savory breakfast and begin the tour of the Pink City. Once you are driving on the roads of the city you will know why this city is known as the ‘Pink City’. You will be taken to the Amber Fort first and on its way you will see the Jal Mahal or the Water Palace located in the Man Sagar Lake. Enjoy an elephant ride for reaching the main entrance of the Fort. The Amber Fort was the former residence of the Kachhwaha Rajput clan and is a World Heritage Site under the Hill Forts of Rajasthan and is truly a wonderful place to visit. After the Fort you will see the Jantar Mantar and the City Palace of Jaipur.
You will be truly mesmerized by the built and decorations of the City Palace, you will see how the expert craftsmen have applied their talent in miniscule of details. Intricately built details with inlays, marble works and mirror works look very impressive. Evening will be spent in the Albert Hall Museum which showcases the articles of Rajasthan’s artistic culture and tradition.
Day 5 Travel from Jaipur to Jodhpur (337 kms)
Wake up in the morning and have breakfast then you can wander around in the markets of Jaipur which are filled with beautiful handmade stuff like jewellery, showpieces, wooden items, etc. After the shopping you will now be travelling to Jodhpur. Another amazing city in the Land of Rajputs, Jodhpur was ruled by the Rathore Rajput Clan. There are several monuments which were built by the Rathore Kings. Near to Jodhpur is Mandore which used to be a prominent city in historic times but is in ruins now. Check in the hotel on reaching Jodhpur and you may now give rest to your body after a delicious dinner.
Day 6 Jodhpur sightseeing
Get set to explore the city which was founded by Rao Jodha, the first King of Jodhpur. You will visit the Mehrangarh Fort in the morning and then the Jaswant Thada. The Mehrangarh Fort is located on a 400 feet high hill and this grand fort complex has several impressive collections of the articles used by the royal family of Jodhpur including the costumes, turbans, arms, fine art paintings, etc. The Jaswant Thada is white marble built memorial of the King Jaswant Singh II with cenotaphs, gardens and lakes.
The next place you will be visiting is one of the largest private residential palaces of the world, the Umaid Bhawan Palace of Jodhpur. This immensely beautiful palace is presently the residence of the Royal Family of Jodhpur and a part is officially maintained by the Taj Hotel Group. Decorated with classy paintings, porcelain, imported furniture this palace is a must visit in Jodhpur. Visit and have a look at the Clock Tower of Jodhpur called ‘Ghanta Ghar’ in Hindi which was built by Maharaja Sardar Singh. Relax and retire for the night in the hotel.
Day 7 Travel from Jodhpur to Ranakpur to Mount Abu (170-93 kms)
Relish a delicious breakfast in the morning and proceed to the next destination of the Classic Rajasthan Tour that is Mount Abu. En-route to Mount Abu you will visit Ranakpur. Famous for the Chaturmukha Jain Temple, Ranakpur is an often visited sight by the tourists. The Chaturmukha Temple is dedicated to the first Tirthankar Adinath of the Jain religion and it is built spectacularly by the craftsmen of the fifteenth century. The white marble used in building the temple has been carved very beautifully and the three tiered temple stands on more than 1444 pillars, all of them with unique designs over them. Continue your ride afterwards to reach Udaipur.
Day 8 Mount Abu sightseeing
Mount Abu is particularly the only hill station of Rajasthan and is frequently visited by the tourists during the winters for its awesome weather conditions. You will visit the 14th century Achalgarh Fort in the morning which was built by the ruler of Mewar, Rana Kumbha. Then visit the temples situated at 2.5 kilometers distance from Mount Abu, Dilwara Jain Temples, marble built temples which are known for their unbelievably beautiful artwork. Later in the evening you will enjoy a visit to the Nakki Lake for picturesque views and a relaxing boat ride. Have a walk on the Abu road and then return to the hotel for the night.
Day 9 Travel from Mount Abu to Udaipur (163 kms)
After enjoying the natural landscapes of Mount Abu you will be proceeding to Udaipur to watch the graceful manmade landscapes with islands and lakes in the City of Lakes, Udaipur. After a 3 to 4 hours drive you will reach Udaipur where you can check in and relax in the hotel. In the evening you will have some alluring views of the City Palace, the Lake Palace and Jag Mandir when they are lit by thousands of lights which are reflected by the water of the lake. You can also visit the famous Jagdish Temple of Udaipur dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the temple is known for its amazing architecture. Rest in the hotel overnight.
Day 10 Udaipur sightseeing
On this day you will be touring in a city which is an incredible blend of exquisite and classy monuments and places. Udaipur is called the City of Lakes due to the presence of faultless artificial lakes named Fateh Sagar and Pichhola. In Udaipur you will be visiting the Udaipur City Palace which was built in the 14th century by Maharana Udai Singh II. The faultless blend of Mughal, European and Rajasthani architecture on Granite and white marble, the palace houses several beautiful buildings inside. Then visit the Lake Fateh Sagar which has three small islands in it having an observatory, a park and a water jet fountain. Followed by this visit you will be visiting the Lake Pichola which has the incredible Lake Palace and Jag Mandir on the islands in it. The sight of these spectacular monuments in the lake looks very majestic.
Day 11 Departure
The day marks the end of the Classic Rajasthan Tour in which you have visited some of the classiest monuments in the state of Rajasthan. On this day you will be transferred to the Delhi International Airport from Udaipur.
